Crispy Air fry Nan Ru (Fermented Beancurd) Fried Wings 南如炸鸡翅

Serves: 1 Kg of Chicken Wings
- 2 Pieces of Red Fermented Bean Curd (南乳)
- 1 tablespoon Red Fermented Beancurd Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons Hua Tiao Wine
- 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Chopped Garlic
- ¼ teaspoon Five Spices Powder
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 10 tablespooons Corn Starch
- Blend all ingredients for the marinade until smooth
- Use a large mixing bowl or Ziploc Bag, combine the chicken wings and marinade for the wings' ensure all the wings are evenly coated with the marinade.
- Cling wrap the bowl of marinated wings (or just seal the ziploc bag) and chill the marinated wings in the fridge.
- Allow the wings to marinate for at least 4 hours or best, overnight.
- Just before air frying the wings, add in baking powder and corn flour to the chicken. Massage in the flour and ensure that it's well combined.
- Preheat the air fryer @ 200 degree Celsius for at least 5 mins.
- After preheating, place the wings into a basket or grill pan
- Air fry the wings for 10 mins or until golden brown.
- Spray oil over the wings before air frying for a crispier wing
