Air Fried Prawn with Wasabi Mayo

Ingredients
Prawn
  • 10 pcs of frozen shelled and deveined prawn
  • 4 tbsp cornflour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg white
  • Cooking oil
Wasabi Mayo
  • 3 tbsp Mayo (to add sugar or condense milk if using japanese style mayo to slightly sweeten it)
  • Wasabi Paste (quantity depend on individual tolerance & preference on wasabi)
Garnish
  • Heaps of tobikko
  • Parsley leaves
Instructions
Prawn
  1. Preheat the air fryer at 200 degree celsius
  2. Mix cornflour and baking powder together in a plate
  3. Thaw and ensure prawns are dry before coating the prawn with the flour mixture.
  4. After the first coat of flour mixture, dip the prawns into the egg white and re-coat the prawn with another layer of flour mixture.
  5. Brush the prawns with oil and place the prawns in the air fryer for about 5 mins or until golden brown
Wasabi Mayo
  1. Add the ingredients together and mix until combine
  2. Coat the prawns with Wasabi Mayo and garnish with tobikko and parsley leaves.
  3. Viola~~~ Time to tuck in!
