Light, Fluffy & Soupy Korean Steamed Egg - Gyeran Jjim (계란찜)

Serves: 2 to 3 pax as a side dish
Egg Mixture
  • 5 Eggs
  • 200ml Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Fish Sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon Sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground White Pepper
  • ½ tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped Spring Onions
  1. Add all the ingredients for the egg mixture into a mixing bowl and whip until well combine
  2. Transfer the egg mixture into a Korean Earthernware Pot or any casserole/small pot
  3. Heat the pot of egg mixture of medium high heat
  4. keep stiring until 80% of the egg mixture become curdy.
  5. Cover with Dome lid or bowl and allow it to cook over low heat for another 2 minutes
  6. Remove the pot from the fire
  7. Sprinkle chopped spring onions and drizzle sesame oil
  8. Serve hot
